As a contributing editor and expert blogger, I bring to you my experiences living with schizophrenia. I've been in recovery 20 years, and in remission for 15 years. From firsthand experience, I know that a full, productive life is possible, even after the trauma of receiving a scary diagnosis.
Christina is a wonderful writer and passionate about helping those with mental illness. Visit her blog to read along as she experiences life and all it's strange variances.
Joyful MusicMy name is Kate, I'm 45 and I'm recovering from schizophrenia. I am currently studying the I Ching (pronounced Yi Jing, an ancient Chinese oracle) and Taoism. My faith in a higher power is what personally led me towards a belief in recovery. I am writing this blog to reach out to other people, to share my story and theirs, to support and be supported.
Yin and YangMy good friend, Cheryl. She is a hairdresser by trade and writer by heart. She loves to blog from coffee shops and share her days. Give her a visit and tell her I sent you. You will not be dissapointed.
La De DaMy other good friend Annabel. She has a way of making the mundane interesting. I have been reading her blog for years now and feel like she is a close friend. Too bad she lives in Texas. I would love to hang out with her often.
The Story of my LifeThe life and times of a middle aged college professor. Join him as he talks about liberal libations, pipe smoking, and coming of age as a college professor. One of my favorite blogs and I think you will find it interesting, too!

??hawaii snow?
Good night Andrew J and wish u sweet snow dreams :)
My husband was born and raised on Oahu. Good skiing up on Mauna Kea on the Big Island, but no lifts so you had to hike up to ski down.
Considering it was the only skiing going on in about 3,000 miles, beggars could not be choosers.
:)
Hawaii has mountains! For example Mauna Kea is 14,000 feet. Even in warm climates, those are supposed to get snow. That's why Kilamanjaro gets snow even in Tropical Africa. /end lesson
whaaat????? NO!
Brrrrrr.
:-)
Snow? In Hawaii? I had no idea it ever snowed in Hawaii! I learn something new every day. Looking forward to seeing your Christmas tree up and decorated...God bless.
It's pretty cold the higher up you go. Hawaii is so beautiful. It's even hard to explain it.
I can take Hawaii off the places I'd like to move now. Ha!
Snow in Hawaii but still none for our Andrew in Alabama, that's just not right. Keeping my hopes up that you can have even just one snowfall this season. I know how much you'd love it!
There's a wonderful poem about snow in today's Writers' Almanac from NPR. It's by Anne Sexton.
Wow. Snow in Hawaii. Weird.
Keep up the godo effort!
