Getting Back into the Good Graces of my Canine Companions…

Mister Shoplifter was back at it again last night.  I carefully watched as he very stealthily checked the video cabinet to see if it was locked.

“Do you have Call of Duty: Special Ops?” Mr. Shoplifter asked me before leaving.

“We’ve got one copy left,” I replied about one of hottest sellers in video game history.

I can’t honestly confirm he is shoplifting, but his behavior is certainly odd. Of all the places to shoplift in town, I wouldn’t pick Walmart as an avenue to do such a thing.  The place is wall to wall surveillance cameras.

Maggie the Impetuous Pup…

Maggie literally pouted with me all day yesterday when our ice storm caused McDonalds to not be served yesterday morning.  Maggie was at my front door this morning with Caramel not far behind as they got their sausage biscuits this morning.    I have never seen Maggie’s tail wag more lively.

Is George still working at Wally World picking up carts? I was thinking about it on my way home. Bet you are glad you aren't with the weather so cold.

Isn't in interesting that our canine and feline companions are just like us, and easily become creatures of expectation and habit?! None of us likes our routines interrupted. I'd be happy if someone brought me a sausage biscuit too! Usually I am the one picking them up for the hungry bunch at work. :-)

I've often wondered where surveillance cameras are placed. Are they put in dressing rooms?

Maybe you should keep a package of frozen, microwave sausage biscuits in your freezer . . for emergencies like these! That way the ladies won't have to be disappointed again! (The Jimmie Dean ones aren't too bad.)

It's great to see you doing so well, dear!

I like your stories about Mr Shoplifter.

That is a great idea Grannie has, just stash a supply in the freezer for emergencies and you will continue to have happy little pups.

Grannie had a good idea about the emergency treats.

You must be so happy to be having some weather events even though it's interfering with your routines. The south is really getting it. We've been mostly spared.
