IPad, You Pad, We All Do the iPad….

Well, I downloaded Blogpress for my iPad. I was trying not to pay the $2.99 price tag hoping something free would be offered soon.  I still can’t get used to the onscreen keypad.  I make tons of mistakes trying to blog with my iPad.   I will just save it for emergencies if my main computer goes down.

I am finding myself reading all my blogs on my iPad, though.  Every night, before work, I sit on the sofa and catch up on all the bloggers that wrote during the day.  The resolution of the iPad’s screen is so fantastic – much easier to read than the 32 inch monitor connected to my main computer.  Photos are also beautiful that they seem to jump off the screen at you.

The Dynamic Duo…

It has taken a family effort to keep mom on her diet.  Dad and Charlie stopped by last night so dad could eat some fries and a hamburger from Wendy’s.  He was in hiding.

“I didn’t want to upset your mother,” Dad told me. “She would obsess over getting a hamburger if I ate it at home.”

Charlie was also obsessed about the 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets I got from my aunt for Christmas.

“What’s the difference between normal cotton sheets and Egyptian cotton sheets?” Charlie asked me.

I had to look it up on my iPad as we sat on my couch.

“Egyptian cotton is a much fluffier strand and softer as well,” I replied back to Charlie.

“He’ll have some of those sheets before the week is over,” dad told me smiling. “It is all he’s been talking about.“

Say No to Meth…

I had a note last night from my supervisor not to sell certain pharmaceutical items in bulk.  Apparently, meth heads have been buying gas line antifreeze and some pharmaceuticals to make methamphetamines.  My only interesting visitor last night was from the man who I fear is shoplifting as every time I look up he’s watching what I am doing.  I keep looking for those RFID tags thinking he is taking them off and walking out with the merchandise.  It is actually a fun little game that I enjoy playing – kind of like cops and robbers as you would play as a kid.

I really like my iPad as well. It is what I use on the boat. Glad that you are on top of things at work. Meth is terrible stuff.

And I got an iPad for Christmas, although I still blog on my computer. But I agree about the resolution. LOVE it.

I love my ipad too. I still travel for work and it's easier to handle than my mac book pro. I've discovered ibook and went through over a $100 dollars of itunes gift cards in less than an hour. It's an awesome reader too.

happy you're back blogging.

also, the higher sheet thread count is so lovely. like sleeping on a cloud.

Everyone I've talked to that has an Ipad loves it. Pretty cool little gizmo, huh? :-)

My husband introduced me to the luxury of high-count cotton sheets, and I would never be able to go back to the others. So soft and comfy!

Cops and robbers at the store... I can see you being good at that! :-)

Have you thought of buying a blue tooth keyboard for your iPad? I'll probably get one when and if I get a iPad, which you know means I want one really bad :))

Boy, am I getting OLD! I wouldn't know an iPad if one fell out of a tree and hit me on the head.

Meth heads ruin everything. I can't get my good sinus medicine anymore because they were using it to make meth. Now I have to stand in line at the pharmacy counter, show ID, etc. Such a pain!

Can you read comfortably on an iPad? I have a Kindle and I love the screen, there's no eyestrain at all. I'm just wondering if the iPad is as condusive to reading?
