May Looms Ever Closer….

This May will be the first month in over a decade that I will no longer receive disability.  I won’t lie and say I am not scared.  Can my health hold up to get past such a huge and monumental hurdle? I would have never thought I could make it as far as I have to be even more candid about my predicament.

Two 2 Go…

The past two days, Mrs. Florene has sent me an extra large cup of McDonald's coffee via George. I was telling her earlier in the week how cold they keep the store.  Jim says they keep it colder as perishable items stay fresher long.  Well, I have quickly grown enamored by that big cup of coffee every morning.  It is such a nice hand and tummy warmer after a frigid night spent in electronics.

Lower temps also inhibit bacteria growth levels!! I received that info when I asked why it's always so cold in operating room areas. Yahoo. Good luck on the disability issue, one day at a time, good luck.

What a milestone of independence that will be for you Andrew! Definitely cause to celebrate! Scary, yes, for sure it is. Life is a scary proposition for all of us... can I find a job, can I keep a job, can I make enough money to survive on? What if something goes wrong? What I've learned is that we must take life one day at a time with courage and determination and the belief that we will find our way as each scenario unfolds. Seeing how far you've come in the past year I have no doubt that you'll figure out a way to make it! BIG HUGS

Mrs Florene is an angel in disguise! What a blessing she is in your life! :-)

You are to be congratulated on your accomplishment during the past year! Look how far you have come.

I thought the stores were kept cool because people coming in from the outside are wearing coats. Just wear several layers of warm clothes and you will be more comfortable.

WOW! Isn't that a milestone that you were kind of aiming for?! Words can't express how proud I am to call you my friend. You have accomplished so much in such a short period.

I don't know anyone who could have accomplished as much as you have!

I'm so pleased!

Love ya,
Grannie
