Winter Storm on the Way…

The odds of us getting a major winter storm this weekend are looking better and better as Sunday looms ever closer. If you've known me for long than you know how excited this makes me.  I’ve already gone to fill my car up with gas. I’d love to be a fly on the wall taking in the deluge of people buying milk, bread, and toilet paper.

Don’t Get Too Close…

Helen was in a surly mood when I was getting my sodas for the day.  I tried to find out what was wrong by prodding her.  I certainly hop it is not something I have done to hurt her feelings.

I was just telling my husband that our daughter in Georgia was probably at Winn Dixie buying toilet paper right now!!

The only thing good about ice storms is that they are so beautiful with everything coated in ice. Some of the scenes can bring tears to your eyes!

Drive carefully, my friend.

Love,
Grannie

We're already getting snow here in NJ. We're due for around 3-6 inches, on top of the stuff that hadn't fully melted since the last storm. My hubby already went to the supermarket this morning to make sure we had enough milk, and some more icemelt for the front steps. Glad the snow excites you, but give me a beach with palm trees any day.

I love a good ice storm! Last time we were without power for several days though. Here in Michigan the weather has been a disappointment, very little snow so far. We have about two inches on the ground and this time last year we had a foot and a half, oh well.
Take good care of yourself Andrew and enjoy the storm.

Snowing hard here now. We are expecting 2- 6 inches. Schools around here let out at noon, 3 hours before the snow started. That was a treat! I got to go out to lunch with my family and we are all settled inside for the night now while the white stuff piles up.

Keep me posted on your weather watch. Not much happening here weather wise.
I am sure Helen is not mad at you. Did she make your Friday meal today?

I KNOW, I KNOW! I was watching the weather report a while ago and they are talking 4-5 inches of snow/ice/sleet south of Atlanta where I live.

Helen could be upset about something at her home, so try not to take it personal.

A nice quiet snow storm would be nice. Instead it is cold and really windy here.
