Do the Nine Lives Come with this Job Title???

I made like a cat this morning and was about to catnap on the counter I was so sleepy.  Anytime I would hear something, I would crack open one eye and make sure my supervisor wasn’t in my department.  I couldn’t wait to get home to my warm bed and my pups.  I also failed miserly on the “don’t browse the Internet at work” mantra I’ve been working on.  Hey! At least I am getting my job done right?  I only browse the Internet in the slowest of times.

“it is dry this morning and that is nice,” George said upon arrival to work at five. “I don’t have to wear that overly hot rain slicker.”

It was good to see George this morning.  My buddy. George was in an uncommonly good mood for 5am and it was rubbing off on me. Absolutely contagious.

Do Batteries Ever Make you Excited?

That’s how I felt a moment ago when I went up front to get Jan to ring up two different sets of rechargeable batteries for my digital camera.  I’ve been meaning to do this for months and get my camera back in action.  These new batteries are supposed to be ten times better than their older counterparts – keeping their charge for months.  They were expensive, though, at $8.99 per pack of four.

I love visiting your site so much that I am considering of creating my very own site. What platform would you recommend? I am not educated with coding so I think I could create it with wordpress, but I saw that your site is based on the BlogEngine code and I like the your blog a lot. Thank You!

I get excited about batteries.

I recently dropped my cell phone at the beach and it was destroyed by salt water. I have an old cell phone i keep around as a back up so i dug that out and had it re-enabled. A couple hours later i remembered why this is my back up phone: The battery didn't hold a charge for longer than a couple hours. Considering i'll be using this old phone until my current contract runs out i decided to splurge on a new battery for it. I got on eBay and found a new battery for about 5 bucks including shipping. I paid for it using "eBay Bucks", rewards for previous eBay purchases, so it was free! It arrived super fast, i charged it up and my phone is now staying powered up for days at a time. Yeah!

Gosh, that sounded like an ad for eBay. ;-)
