I'm so sorry Andrew. I know how hard you worked to get the job in the first place, and then to have kept it for so long. Big hugs to you.

Sir:

Please do not throw away all you have worked for and strived for. You may be having a horrid time at the moment, but keep trying... and keep focused on how this time will pass and you can return to your goals.

Consider talking to the folks at work and requesting an unpaid leave to recover. If they will grant such a thing, you could return once you feel back to your more productive and happier self.

Certainly you do get some sort of sick time. I am sure you are valued at your job just tell your boss that you are sick and need time off.

I've been dealing with crisis after crisis here with our family the past couple of weeks - have not even turned on this "talking box".

So, so sorry you're having trouble. Please hang in there. Know that a lot of us care about you and will be here for you!

I'm so proud of you, my friend. Don't give up! You KNOW it will pass.

Love ya,
Grannie

:( The above comments have a very good idea. Just take some time off. I hate giving other people advice but maybe stopping the Risperdal was a bad idea. There's no need to go back to ten different medications but Risperdal or a similar anti-psychotic might help. I only take Seroquel and haven't had a psychotic break since 2007 or 2008.

I hope your disability has not run out. Hang in there, soon you will be back in the sun.

I was an Human Resources Manager at Home Depot. They were very strict about absences. If you want to go back to Walmart, go see the HR Manager or the Store Manager and explain what happened. If they don't know, they can't help you. If you don't want to go back, like you said, you still have your lawn business, which I know must be in demand. Either way, take care of yourself first. You matter, don't forget that!

I think that it would be good if you could talk to the HR folks. A medical leave of absence would be a good idea.
