By decree of me, King Andrew, I now proclaim a day off for everyone in my life! Wouldn’t it be so nice for that to be handled so easily? I certainly would be popular then among the office drones and the jet setters.
Maggie woke me at the butt crack of dawn with her “someone’s in the front yard” bark which is very distinctive from her other barks. I went and made sure both of my cars were locked. I then turned on all the outside and inside lights. Now, it is 4:26 am and I can’t go back to sleep. I think this is some ploy or chess move by Maggie to get me up and going so we can go about her walk. 
Ah Bless! All she had to do was to urge me on or give me all the signs.
About my father, wasn’t that so off the wall, odd, and zany for him? It is like something out of the Twilight Zone. He has spent most of his life keeping me from drinking and getting drunk and there he goes and gets drunk. Dad and mom are on a trip to Cincinnati for a wedding. Hopefully we can solve this mystery when he gets home. Charlie offered no explanation about what happened the other night as we sat in my den and talked and I didn’t dare ask.

It’s the little things in life can make living such a difference that Charlie so personifies. Charlie will bring me something to eat tonight with some sodas as Maggie goes nuts at his arrival. I always say Charlie can spoil you. You definitely don’t want to be on a diet when Charlie is around which is a good thing for me. Why do I attract of all of these people who try to feed me? Maybe I can get up a video up today of Charlie arriving and how Maggie reacts.
