Are the peas & carrots canned or frozen? I imagine you get a lot of fresh veggies down there too...

glittermom… turnips, collards, turnip greens, and rutabagas are some of the various vegetables easily obtainable fresh right now. The peas and carrots are canned. Le Sueur brand. I really shouldn’t complain and should just be glad to get them, but mom and I like joking about it.

Thanks for the response...I dont care for vegs much...I will eat broccoli, asparagus and corn...not much else...
