“It’s called Niffers and they have an awesome blue cheese burger,” I replied.
“You still don’t mind taking me, do you?” she asked.
“You know I am going to take care of you for all the hundreds of things you’ve done for me over the years,” I told her.
We will be leaving at eleven tomorrow and I look forward to spending time with my mother and driving her car.
The Dutch Royal Woes…
I asked my father tonight (which was right up his alley) what he thought of Queen Beatrix's planned abdication of the throne in April. He was shocked. He didn’t know she was abdicating.
“That’s common for the Dutch,” he told me ever astutely about such matters. “To pass the throne on to the next and younger generation.”
“She has always been controversial over the years, though,” my father added. “She married a German after the war and there were riots and bombs.”
Dad spent most of his time here tonight enthralled with my iPad looking for more information.
