I can remember as a child compulsively calling time and temperature on the phone hoping the temperature had fallen some more with some wet stuff on the way. I still have that same enthusiasm about the weather as I did as a child. Although this enthusiasm has been marred some with the recent drastic changes at the Weather Channel. My father shares this enthusiasm with me as well. According to the National Weather Service, which is extremely ultra conservative, we have a pretty good chance of getting some snow tonight. It is already snowing in Mississippi to our west. Here is a photograph of the year before last’s Christmas day snow.

Hey, that's supposed to be OUR snow. Ever since Snowmageddon in the winter of 2009-10, we have seen nary a flake. I hate this. I want skidding and sliding, school closings, empty shelves in the supermarket.
Usually by this time we have had lots of snow..This year is turning into a boring winter like last year...wheres the blizzards we use to have...
I'm right at the northern edge of the snow and it will probably pass us by. So far it's just cloudy. I too am fascinated by weather!
It's not fair! If we (in Pennsylvania) have to have a 5 degree wind chill in the morning,we should get to host the snow as well.
All our snow is gone, temps in the 60's last weekend, now all we have is mud, which will freeze.
Good part of having freezing weather: makes dog poop so easy to pick up.

Its strange for philly we have only had one snow storm and it was just a coating.
I am looking at the laptops on new egg. My camara is just a normal one that I often use for shots of wounds and of course family shots. I think its a 8MB.
Also I am going to bite the bullet and go for a wireless printer to make life easier for me and also for my son - he is a teacher but lives at home so he often has to print his school work for the next day and its just easier. And I am going to send everything to you before I order if you dont mind. I dont want to put pressure on you but I just want to make sure it will do what I want. I am definitly not getting a netbook or one of those ultrabooks.
