Does your cable co. randomly stop by to update your equipment? We have to fight to get someone to come out for our cable even when something is wrong.

Yesterday was an unsolicited visit. Knology is based here, though, so we may see preferential treatment. Maggie went nuts when that Cable guy came inside. I assured him that she wouldn’t bite. She ran outside barking her fool little head off until he left. To describe him, He was a very petite and almost feminine looking black fellow. I got a shiny brand new cable modem and my internet speeds seem much, much faster. My old modem was 7 years old. The technician was excited to show me how much faster my service was when he finished. I appreciated the enthusiasm. DOCSIS 3.0 (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) rolls out in two weeks and I will be the first person to sign up! I guess they are getting everyone updated for the big change.

It sounds like perhaps it was a drill or an event rather than an accident. The helicopters don't usually rally for instructions.

Leann, it is beautiful here today. The sun is shining brightly with a temperature of around 57 degrees. We’ve had some very cold mornings, though, where I’ve had to scrape the frost off my windshield to head into volunteering. All the tulip trees are blooming here after all the warm weather we’ve had.
