Mary, my grandmother used to have those very same fold out trays and we would watch the Lawrence Welk show and eat our TV dinners on those very same trays. It is a very fond memory for me as well. That was also before cable TV and we would have to adjust the antenna so we could pick up CBS out of Columbus, GA. The weathermen used to do the weather on a chalkboard with chalk.

Oh yeah. That sounds like it used to be at our house except back then I hated Lawrence Welk's show. Now I love it.
