That title reminds me of an old Björk tune I used to love and still do. We’re are fixing to disrupt this silence in a minute with some Ben Folds Five I do think.
My father just has left after staying about 30 minutes. He had worked 10 hours today and had bags under his eyes. He just looked haggard and weary.
When dad was leaving, he said he had Horsefly duty tonight. He left to go pick up Horsefly who was then bowling his four games at the bowling alley which takes about an hour and then my father would have to take him to get his chicken finger meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken. I think we all like routines, but Horsefly takes it to a new level of sameness. Horsefly had already been by my father’s former pharmacy to get his nightly can of shaving cream. You should see Horsefly’s room. It is wall to wall Elmo, Dora, and shaving cream.
I’ve fiddle farted around mi casa all day doing laundry and straightening up the house. I gave a total scrub job to my bathroom and it is spotless. Maggie spent much of her day laying on the bed in the sunlight and keeping one eye open for me if I came out of the kitchen with food. I have a bad habit of eating in front of the television thus the TV dinner to the left. I did make one of the best ham sandwiches I have ever eaten for supper. Yes, Maggie got a sandwich as well. I hope I don’t bring forth the ire of the food police. They do exist, you know? Mom has spared no expense in the luncheon meat she has been buying me lately.

Remember when eating a tv dinner was a treat? Back in the 70's when tv trays were all the rage and moving dinner out of the dining room was a special event.....
